Former NHRA Top Fuel champion Scott Kalitta has been was killed after losing control of his funny car during the NHRA Super Nationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. at Englishtown, N.J. on saturday.
Kalitta was 46, from Snead Island, Fla won the Top Fuel title had 18 career victories and was Top Fuel champ in 1994 and 1995,
He originally retired in 1997, 2 years after winning the title.

So sad, what a great loss for the family and drag racing. As carfull as eveyone is this kind of tragidy still happends. Racing is a great sport and also very dangerious as we all know...This is truley another SAD day for everone...
