Tricks that can make notepad work like a personal diary for you
The steps will make notepad as your personal diary:
- Open a blank Notepad file.
- Write .LOG and press enter, and save it (Whatever name you like).
- Open the file you will see the Current time and Date and the cursor is on the next line.
- Type your note there and save it.
- Every time you open the file will give a new time (if you saved it previously)

Fill up your forms in the web automatically
This feature enables you to fill out web forms with one click or a keyboard shortcut.
There is no problem weather you use Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Generally we need to fill up our form in the web manually, for various reasons, such as opening an email account. Different signing up form has some common question such as name, address, user name, password, phone number etc. and every time when we fill up forms we have to write these every time. But this post is going to tell how you can do easily, rather than writing individually. Its very simple, follows the steps…
- Download the exact add-ons, for Firefox CLICK HERE and for Internet Explorer CLICK HERE and install it.
- Click the wrench icon on the right side of your Toolbar. Alternatively, click the down arrow next to the AutoFill button and select Add/Edit Profiles….
- In the 'Toolbar Options' window, click the AutoFill tab….
- Select the checkbox next to AutoFill if it isn't checked already….
- To create a new profile, click the Add new profile link. Or click the Edit link next to the profile you'd like to edit….
- Edit your information as necessary….
- Click the Save button.
- Now you check it by signing up anywhere…you will see some boxes will be colored.
- Now press the auto fill up icon in the window. You will see the boxes (which was colored is now filled up)

Change your Icon spacing.....(Xp)
You can manage your desktop icons in windows XP horizontally as well as vertically spacing. You can change
1. location
2. size of icons
3.spacing between icons
but you can arrange these setting using windows methods.
check this...
1.Right click on the destop and click on Properties
2.click Appearance tab and go to Advance button
(under item there are many option for changing)
e.g. - choose icon spacing in both ways and then here you can change the size putting number (minimum or maximum) under size.
4. when it is complete click OK button.

Search Google with these techniques
site: domain restricts search results to the given domain.
allinurl: shows only pages with all terms in the url.
inurl: like allinurl, but only for the next query word.
allintitle: shows only results with terms in title.
intitle: similar to allintitle, but only for the next word. "intitle:webmasterworld google" finds only pages with webmasterworld in the title, and google anywhere on the page.
link: url Shows other pages with links to that url।
related:url same as "what's related" on serps.
cache:url will show the Google version of the passed url.
info:url will show a page containing links to related searches, backlinks, and pages containing the url. This is the same as typing the url into the search box.
spell: will spell check your query and search for it.
stocks: will lookup the search query in a stock index.
filetype: will restrict searches to that filetype. "-filetype:doc" to remove Microsoft word files.
daterange: is supported in Julian date format only. 2452384 is an example of a Julian date.
maps: If you enter a street address, a link to Yahoo Maps and to MapBlast will be presented.
phone: enter anything that looks like a phone number to have a name and address displayed. Same is true for something that looks like an address (include a name and zip code)

Set your Num Lock Turn On Forever
You can set your Num Lock to stay on, when you logon your system.
There is a techniques to set Num Lock stay on by default.Here i am giving you one technique...
follow the steps...
1.Open Run command and type Regedt32.exe
2.Here Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard
3. change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.
Now restart the computer. Num Lock should come on and stay on.

Protect your Office document with Password
You can protect your document by applying password so that unauthorized person can not display as well as modify your document. You can apply two types of passwords:
Password to open the document:
Password to modify the document:
Follow these steps.....
- Open any Office Documents
- Click File and Select Save As
- Now click Tools in that dialouge box
- select General Option...
- Now give the password i. Password to open and ii.Password to modify and click OK.
- You will be asked to "Confirm Password", again enter those password you have entered earlier (The maximum length of password is 15 characters.)
- Click "Save" button of Save As dialog box
It is now ready.....
Remember password is case sensitive Don' t forget them....

Renaming the whole sets of files
Hey there is a good and very easiest way to rename a sets of file. This is actually need when similar types of same files are there in your PC.
Check it....
1.Make a folder in Destop.
2.Create a huge number of folder there
[this will be New Folder, New Folder (2), New Folder (3), and so on....]
3. Now Select them all (Ctrl+A)
4.Right click and select Rename
5. Now Give a name (eg.abc)
Now it is ready ......
(This is very useful when you are going to rename a huge number of file uploaded from your Digicam,Camcorder etc.)

that's all..
Remove SHORTCUT link from the desktop folder
just go to >start>run>regedit>hkey_classes_root>u
find a file by name lnkfile click on that to that right
u can see a file by name is shortcut delete that and
again come to left click on pipfile u delete again is shortcut
then restart the pc u cant see the shortcut arrow
